At Simply Bags, we want every customer to feel completely confident and satisfied with their purchase. We stand behind every bag we sell and we are committed to making the return and refund process as straightforward and stress-free as possible. This policy is governed by applicable United States federal and state consumer protection laws, including the Federal Trade Commission Act and relevant state consumer protection statutes.
Please note that we do not offer free returns for change-of-mind purchases. Return shipping charges will apply unless the return is due to a fault or error on our part.
1. CAN I RETURN MY ORDER?
Absolutely. You can return items within 30 days of receipt provided the following conditions are met:
- All parts and original packaging must be intact and in original condition
- The product should show only normal signs of handling — we cannot accept items that have been damaged through careless use
- Any defective items must be reported immediately upon receipt
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty, incorrect, or does not match its description
- Returns are processed within 7 business days of receipt. If your return meets all conditions you will receive an official acknowledgment and confirmation of your refund within this timeframe
We reserve the right to refuse returns if items appear used or damaged through no fault of our own.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable United States federal or state consumer protection law.
2. HOW TO RETURN YOUR ORDER
To initiate a return please follow these steps:

Please include the following details in your email:
- Your order number
- Your reason for return or exchange
- A photo of the product if it is damaged or faulty
- Your full name and delivery address
Once your return request is approved our customer service team will email you detailed return instructions within 1 to 2 business days.
⚠️ Please note: in certain cases returns may need to be sent to our fulfilment facilities. Always follow the specific instructions provided by our customer service team to ensure your return is processed correctly and without delay. Do not send returns to any address without first receiving written confirmation from our team, as the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
3. RETURN SHIPPING FEES
If the return is initiated by the customer — for example change of mind, personal preference, or ordering the wrong item — the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
If the issue is on our end — for example a damaged, faulty, or incorrectly sent item — Simply Bags will cover all return shipping costs in full and will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.
4. CONSUMER RIGHTS UNDER US LAW
Under applicable United States consumer protection law, our products come with protections that cannot be excluded or waived. You are entitled to a replacement or full refund for any item that arrives faulty, materially different from its description, or unfit for its intended purpose. You are also entitled to compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage resulting from a defective product.
To exercise your consumer rights please contact us at support@simply-bags.com with a clear description of the issue and supporting photos where applicable. Refunds will be issued once we have assessed your claim using the same payment method you used originally. Consumers may also seek assistance from the Federal Trade Commission at ftc.gov or their state Attorney General's consumer protection division.
5. CHANGE OF MIND AND ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Because orders are processed automatically and dispatched quickly, we are unable to cancel or refund an order while goods are in transit. Refunds for change-of-mind returns are only possible once the goods have been received back at our fulfilment centre and inspected by our team.
If your order is already in transit please wait for delivery before initiating a return request. To speed up the process please share your return shipping confirmation with us once you have sent the item back.
6. REFUND PROCESSING
Once your return is received and approved we will refund all eligible payments — excluding original delivery costs unless the return is due to a fault or error on our part.
Refunds will be processed within 14 business days via the same payment method you used originally. You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been issued. Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to process the refund to your account.
If you have not received your refund within 14 business days of our confirmation email please contact us at support@simply-bags.com and we will investigate immediately.
7. DAMAGED OR LOST RETURNS IN TRANSIT
Simply Bags is not responsible for return packages that are lost or damaged in transit. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service for all returns. Please retain your return shipping receipt and tracking number until your refund has been fully processed.
SUMMARY
At Simply Bags we are committed to treating every customer fairly and transparently. You may return eligible items within 100 days of receipt under the conditions outlined above. Your statutory rights under United States law are not affected by anything in this policy.
